I am a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Essex. I am also an associate member of the Paris group “Sciences, Normes, Décision” (SND) and a member of the Groupe de Recherche en Épistemologie (GRÉ) of the Collège de France.

Before coming to Essex, I was a research fellow at University College London,  at  LOGOS (Barcelona), at SND and at the Institut Jean Nicod (Paris), where I did my PhD.

My main interests lie in the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of language, and their intersection with some issues in epistemology, metaphysics and the philosophy of psychology. I am particularly interested in the first person (linguistic and mental), indexical concepts, de se content, subjectivity, self-knowledge, selfhood, personal identity, phenomenal consciousness, and phenomenal concepts. I am also interested in aesthetics.

I studied fine arts at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris.
