I am a senior lecturer in philosophy at the University of Essex.

Before coming to Essex, I was a research fellow at University College London,  at  LOGOS (Barcelona) and at the Institut Jean Nicod (Paris), where I did my PhD.

My main interests lie in the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of language, and their intersection with some issues in epistemology, metaphysics and the philosophy of psychology. I am particularly interested in the first person (linguistic and mental), indexical concepts, de se content, subjectivity, self-knowledge, selfhood, personal identity, phenomenal consciousness, and phenomenal concepts. In parallel, I work on the ethics and politics of speech acts. I am also interested in aesthetics.

I studied fine arts at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris.
